Partnership Housing for Homeless Veterans Through various community partnerships and collaboration, Dallas VA Comprehensive Homeless Center has been very instrumental in developing the following housing partnerships that serve homeless veterans: Dallas Metrocare Efficiency Apartments Supportive Housing Program (E.A.S.H) Dallas Metrocare Efficiency Apartments Supportive Housing Program (E.A.S.H) is a partnership with the Urban League of Greater Dallas and the VA North Texas Health Care System (VANTHCS) Comprehensive Homeless Center. This program is funded through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The goal of our program is to provide clients with rental and utility assistance in order to become working members of society again. This program provides 27 units of housing for homeless veterans. While our clients are in the program they will receive services from their assigned case managers. Case managers will conduct apartment inspections and meet with clients on a weekly basis. The basic services that may be provided through E.A.S.H. Program case management are:

In 1995 the City of Dallas Environmental and Health Services and the Dallas VA Comprehensive Homeless Center formed a partnership that would provide 15 units of housing to homeless veterans. This program requires that homeless veterans participate in supportive services through the VA. This is a HUD funded grant. Veteran rent is subsidized. Shelter Plus Care will also assist with rental deposit and application fees. Eligibility criteria:
